What is partnership in church planting?
Partnering in church planting is about churches becoming involved in planting new churches. There is an urgent need for churches to engage in partnering with new church starting efforts.
There are many different ways churches can be involved as a partner in church starting, including, but not limited to: strategic intercessory prayer, providing strategic leadership as well as leadership development, giving financial resources, giving materials and equipment, and assisting with mission action groups.
Every church can be involved in church planting at some level. Types of partnerships:
Primary church – a church that discerns and accepts the call to plant a new church and lead in its development.
Clustering church – a church that chooses to join another church or churches to plant a new church through providing resources – prayer, physical, financial, ministry, and/or personnel.
