Churches today face a range of challenges during worship gatherings—from disruptive individuals to medical emergencies and volunteer coordination. Many churches have safety teams in place, but few have been given practical guidance on how to organize those teams in a way that supports the pastoral mission of the church.
This regional training will help church safety teams and ministry leaders think clearly about readiness: how to prepare volunteers, respond calmly to disruptions, and establish simple structures that protect worship, children’s ministries, and the broader church environment.
Participants will work through real ministry scenarios, discuss practical de-escalation approaches, and leave with tools they can immediately implement in their own churches.
