Matt and Audrey Chism had to move for safety reasons, but they don’t regret a single moment of their time in the Middle East. For two decades, they worked with Middle Eastern people, especially those displaced, sharing their lives, joys, and sorrows.
Their love for the work continues as they now focus on mobilizing others to share the gospel with Middle Eastern communities. As Asian-Americans, they understand the importance of integrating different cultures into IMB teams. They help onboard global missionary partners, equipping and encouraging those who often face challenges as minorities in both the mission field and missionary teams.
IMB missionaries recognize that they can’t be everywhere, but God has called the nations to reach the nations. The Chisms are part of that calling, grateful to see the fruit of their efforts as global partners share the gospel one person at a time. For them, witnessing the Revelation 7:9 vision coming to life is a reason to rejoice.
Your generous gifts through the Cooperative Program support missionaries like the Chisms as they invest in mobilizing others to spread the gospel in spiritually dark places.
Pray for Matt and Audrey as they mobilize others to share the gospel with Middle Eastern communities.
