Tyler & Ashley Martin

Tyler and Ashley Martin moved to Bar Nunn, Wyoming, as church planting missionaries—not because of what was there, but because of what was missing. “In Wyoming, there are 203 places you can have as a mailing address,” Tyler explains. “More than 60 of those don’t have a church of any kind. And God told us, ‘Those people need the gospel too.’”

What began as a burden became Outfitter Church. Today, Tyler is training men from within the congregation to plant churches across the state. With Wyoming’s vast distances and limited resources, church planters must rise from within. That vision led to the launch of circuit preaching teams to reach small, forgotten towns—many of which have never had a church.

Through the Cooperative Program, our church supports missionaries like the Martins, who are reaching hard-to-get-to places with the hope of Christ.

Pray this week that other churches in Wyoming will recognize and respond to the gospel needs around them.
