Pastors and Wives Retreat

We are excited to invite you to our annual Pastors and Wives retreat at the Green Lake Conference Center, Green Lake, Wisconsin, February 1-3, 2024. The theme of this year’s retreat is Worthy of the Call with special guest speakers Bill & Jackie Tinsley.

Pastor, this invitation was only sent to you, but the retreat is FREE to all MWBC lead pastors plus one additional pastor from churches with multiple pastoral staff, so please pass this on to your other pastoral staff. In addition, retired pastors can attend for free. The financial support for this retreat is funded through your church’s Cooperative Program giving and the Texas Baptists’ Mary Hill Davis Offering.

If you have more than two pastors/wives who want to attend, please contact Na Herr at herr@mwbc.org or (507) 282-3636 and we can work out those details. Perhaps your church could partially fund the retreat for additional staff.

Here are some things to know before you register:

  • The retreat begins Thursday, February 1st with registration/check-in at 4pm. Our first event is dinner Thursday evening, which is served at 5pm. The retreat ends with breakfast on Saturday, February 3rd.
  • The retreat is designed for fellowship, renewal and growth. The schedule is light. Dress is casual. Childcare is not provided. Infants less than six months or still nursing are welcome. However, since this is a ‘get-away’ weekend for all, you’ll need to find alternative care with friends and family for other children.
  • Friday afternoon is free for you to explore the conference center grounds (bring skis, snowshoes, hiking boots), go shopping in one of the many small towns in the area, fellowship with other couples around a game board, or take a nap.

Now to register:

  • Register by completing this online form: REGISTRATION CLOSED
  • Registration deadline is Tuesday, January 16, 2024 or until we reach capacity, at which time, we will start a waiting list.
  • If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please contact Na Herr at herr@mwbc.org or at (507) 282-3636.
